The event in a few words

Ready for a proper British adventure? ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง If you're heading to the United Kingdom just for the fish & chips, think again! ๐Ÿ’จ You'll find yourself in the heart of England's most spectacular countryside, right in the middle of... nowhere! For the Peak District Challenge, head to Bakewell, a charming village nestled between Manchester and Sheffield, right in the heart of the Peak District National Park. You'll be running through a green gem ๐ŸŒฑ, between majestic valleys and stoic sheep ๐Ÿ‘.

Are you a thrill-seeker? Take on the famous courses of the UTMBยฎ World Series. Here, we take trail running seriously โœ‹. Whether you're into a leisurely jog or thrive on extreme endurance, you'll find the distance that excites you. If you're just starting out, you can opt for a short 10 km loop. If you prefer short and intense formats โšก๏ธ, choose the 25 km with its 1250 m elevation gain. For those who want to push further, you can challenge yourself with 48, 52, 73 km, or even 100 km and give your calves a good workout with tough elevation ๐Ÿ’ฅ. The Gold Ultra route of 100 km is a challenging full loop through eight varied sections amidst the most beautiful landscapes of Derbyshire, between deep forests and mountains ๐Ÿ˜. In short, it's a distillation of what England has to offer at its best (minus the pints ๐Ÿป, plus the sweat ๐Ÿ’ฆ). All courses are meticulously marked, with gourmet refreshment stations, logistical support, and an electric atmosphere at every checkpoint โœ…. And for those ultimate adventurers seeking more, there's the 100-mile challenge in 24 hours. This is tough ๐Ÿ’ช: you must complete the Gold Ultra (100 km and 2150 m elevation gain) and the 53 km before the clock strikes midnight โฑ๏ธ. Obviously, no one embarks on such an adventure without experience: you need to have completed a 100 km beforehand to register for this challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ. You can also opt for the 100 km in 2 days, which involves completing the 52 km course on Saturday... and then the 48 km on Sunday ๐Ÿ˜ˆ. One thing's for sure, you'll have earned your English breakfast ๐Ÿฅต. But don't worry, the Peak District Challenge is, above all, an event where everyone is welcome, regardless of your level ๐Ÿซถ. Whether you walk, jog, or run full speed, everyone will cheer you on ๐ŸŽ‰.

And after you complete your challenge like a warrior ๐Ÿฆพ, comfort is never far away! Start by biting into an authentic Bakewell Tart ๐Ÿฐ โ€“ this local raspberry-flavored treat ๐Ÿคค. Afterwards? Head over to the Chatsworth House, a dreamy manor worthy of Downton Abbey ๐Ÿฐ. Still craving nature? ๐ŸŒฟ Head back to the Peak District National Park for one last dose of cliffs and plains before you leave โžก๏ธ. For the curious, the mysterious Caves of Castleton await you ๐Ÿซต.

So, ready for the (final) show? ๐Ÿ™ƒ
