Have you always dreamed of running in the Land of the Rising Sun? 🌅 Pack your bags 🧳, we invite you to Japan 🇯🇵, specifically in the Osaka Prefecture, in the Yodogawa Ward for the Yodogawa Ecomarathon 🏃♀️.
If you prefer running solo 🧍♂️, join the timed 10 km race. If you enjoy running with family 🧑🧑🧒🧒, there's a parent-child 5 km run that is untimed. The races will start sharply at 11:00 AM 🕚, in the heart of Osaka, along the Yodogawa River. You will follow the river on the cycling path. With a flat, easy, and fast course ⚡️, the race is open to both novice runners and veterans looking to set a personal best 💪. With a participant cap of 300 runners, you won't have to elbow your way at the start 😝.
There are several other sporting events organized, particularly in the prefectures of Saitama, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, and Kumamoto, but primarily in Tokyo 🌸. The Ecomarathon is committed to environmental sustainability 🌳 and supporting various causes 🎗️. This year, you can make a donation to the international refugee support association: Second Harvest Japan. As Japan's first food bank, the organization strives to ensure everyone has access to food 🍲.
The city of Osaka has a complex history but has managed to evolve and reinvent itself over the years while retaining its significance as a central and important city. It is a very touristic destination that blends traditional and modern culture 🎐. Whether you're into gastronomy, shopping, culture, or entertainment, you'll find something to enjoy in Osaka 😍. If you choose to extend your stay, why not visit the Shin-Osaka Station Museum to learn more about the trains that connect the prefecture. If you're looking for more tradition, don't hesitate to try a Sentō (public bath) or an Onsen (traditional hot bath). To learn more about Shinto culture, the Kazaki Shrine ⛩️ will answer all your questions 🧐.
Tempted? Grab your ticket ✈️, lace up your sneakers 👟, and join us for the Yodogawa Ecomarathon 🎏.
