This new trail offers two courses to suit both beginners and experts: the "Little Blue Soldier" with its 8 km through scenic paths 🏞️, perfect for a short distance sprint, trying out a new sport 🏋️, or getting back into shape; and the "Grand Soldat Bleu," a 17 km challenge through enchanting forests ✨, ideal for adventurers looking to push their limits 🗺️. Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Race bibs can be collected on race day, Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the starting location near the community hall in Vassy-sous-Pisy, starting at 8:00 AM and up until 30 minutes before the race begins.

The start and finish are near the community hall in Vassy-sous-Pisy. The races will start on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the following times:

  • 9:30 AM for the "Grand Blue Soldier" 17 km run

  • 10:00 AM for the "Little Blue Soldier" 8 km run

  • 10:10 AM for the 8 km walk-hike. Dogs on leashes are welcome along the entire route.

There will be a refreshment station with food and drinks around the 8th km of the 17 km race. No refreshments will be provided for the 8 km run and the walk, so you'll need to be self-sufficient with water and food. Depending on the weather, the organizers may add a water point.

  • The 8 km trail, called "The Little Blue Soldier," is open to anyone born in 2008 or earlier.

  • The 17 km trail, called "The Grand Blue Soldier," is open to those born in 2006 or earlier.

Yes, a medical certificate verifying your fitness to compete in running events, dated within a year before the race, is required to participate. FFA licenses that are currently valid and Health Prevention Plans (PPS) dated within three months are also accepted.

Each participant in the "Little Blue Soldier" must have the following mandatory equipment:

  • emergency blanket

  • working mobile phone

  • water container

Each participant in the "Grand Blue Soldier" must have the following mandatory equipment:

  • emergency blanket

  • working mobile phone

  • 500 mL water supply

  • food supply

Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race category, at a minimum.
