Overlooking Lyon, nestled between the Rhône (the river this time) and the Saône 🌊, the LUT by Night will get you pumped up all night long! 🌝 Even in the chilly November temperatures ❄️, a thorough warm-up will have you on fire! 🔥 Get ready to turn the pavement into a dancefloor with this exciting urban trail in Lyon! 🦁
Prepare for a wild night ! The City of Lights will shine all through the night 🎶. Three new tracks are waiting for you to run (not dance) in this 10th edition of the Lyon Urban Trail by Night! 🎉 In the heart of this historical city, under the stars (or rather your headlamp 🔦), you'll experience the magical ambiance over 10 km, 20 km, or 30 km races against the clock ⏱️. And because nights are also for partying 🥳, a 10 km 👻 non-timed run is available.
This show takes place on the right bank of the Saône and is definitely not to be missed! During your urban trail, you'll shake the Place Saint-Jean ⛪ and the rue Tramassac, before making your way up the heights of Lyon 👆, step by step, to the iconic hill of Fourvière! There, you can unleash your best moonwalks🕺 on its quaint cobblestone streets 👟. Don't stop 'til you get enough as the King of Pop sang! 🎤 And as this year marks the event's first decade 🎂, it's not just the distances that are changing... The routes are getting a makeover too! 😯 Like an actor stepping into a trail runner's shoes 👟, you'll start at the legendary Roman Theatre of Fourvière, on the stage of the grand amphitheatre 🎭. The excitement will be at its peak, your headlamp might just blow up! 💡 For your finish, you'll be cheered on by a crowd at the foot of the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière ⛪, with a magical view overlooking all of Lyon 🤩.
After your run, in the early morning, you won't have a hangover 🪵. Instead, you might face some muscle soreness! 😂 So, to avoid a painful next day, reward your efforts with some Lyonnais specialties in THE capital of French gastronomy 🍽️. Start with a slice of pâté en croûte and some Saint-Marcellin cheese (yes, this delicious soft cheese hails from Isère, Drôme, or Savoie 😋), and finish with a coussin de Lyon for a sweet note of chocolate ganache wrapped in almond paste and flavored with curaçao 🤤. The perfect end to an unforgettable night! 😜
Come heat up the atmosphere 🌡️ and show off your best dance moves at the LUT by Night! 🕺
