Oh Amiens! The capital of Picardy, how can one not fall for the charm of the north, especially with cities like this! 🤩 This city, in addition, is delighted to host the second edition of the Amiens Urban Trail ! And this time, they've decided to create an event for everyone: seasoned runners, beginners, walkers! Be cautious ⚠️, it's important to remember that the winter temperatures can be quite chilly ❄️ (perhaps it's a way to preserve the beauty of the place, who knows? 🥰). So don't forget your essential pack: thermal shirt / jacket / hat / gloves! 🧤 Stay fit for the run, and also to explore the city afterward! Just because the atmosphere is going to be sizzling doesn't mean you should start shedding layers! 😜
The course will remain secret until further notice! 🤫 But knowing the allure of Amiens, you won't be disappointed. Speaking of which, do you know all there is to discover there? "The little Venice of the North" 🛶 has nothing to envy from other French cities 😌. It surpasses everyone with its unmissable heritage, highly praised by UNESCO 🌎: the "City of Art and History" label has been awarded to Amiens since 1992 for highlighting its heritage🏅. Leading the way is the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral ⛪, with its stunning sculpted decor and large stained glass windows... A perfect representation of Gothic art! At 112 meters tall, it is the largest medieval cathedral in the world! 😲 Its volume is twice as large as Notre-Dame de Paris. One can sense the Parisians' jealousy after reading this! 😬 But come on! It's time to see what northern wonders have to offer 🤝.
Moreover, it's not the only gem in town! 💎 Its neighborhoods are also very well-known 🏘️, especially as they are divided by numerous canals 🌊. The rustic charm of Amiens knows how to capture the hearts of its visitors ❤️. The Saint-Leu district is one of the most famous places. Originating in the Middle Ages, it is now "the place to be" for a drink 🍹 on a terrace and to enjoy the unique atmosphere ✨. While you're there, take a look 👀 at the Place du Don, home to the "gable houses", the oldest in the city 🌆.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
The race will both start and finish at the citadel in Amiens, starting from 1:30 PM.
Since the race is not officially ranked, a medical certificate is not required. However, it is strongly recommended to bring one. It's crucial to be in good shape and healthy to complete the course safely.
Registration fees are as follows:
Adults: Phase 1 (from 10/22/2024 to 12/22/2024): €10 / Phase 2 (from 12/23/2024 to 03/18/2025): €12
Children (under 16 years old): €10
Yes, you have a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the 9 km course. Beyond this limit, certain parts of the course will be closed.
During the race, you will have the chance to run through some buildings. However, running inside these buildings is strictly prohibited. Violators will face disqualification, removal of their race bib, and won't receive the Finisher's gift at the finish line.
You can pick up your race bib at the following locations:
Harmonie Mutuelle (4 place Léon Gontier, 80000, Amiens): Thursday, February 8, 2024, and Friday, February 9, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 6 PM
Intersport Glisy (5 avenue Philéas Fogg, 80440, Glisy): Thursday, February 8, 2024, and Friday, February 9, 2024, from 12 PM to 2 PM and from 5 PM to 7 PM
You can also collect your starting pass on Saturday, February 10, 2024, directly at Paul Tellier Esplanade from 1:30 PM until 30 minutes before your wave starts.

There will be refreshment stations with food and drinks available along the course.
A medical certificate is no longer accepted; instead, you must provide a PPS (Health Prevention Pathway) certificate dated within the last three months. These documents are not required for the untimed 5 km walk.
