"It’s good to be at home, isn’t it?"
You’re likely to say this to your partner while rediscovering your capital 🇨🇵 during the 10 km des Champs-Élysées FULFIL. Located in the heart of Paris, you’ll pass by the most beautiful spots of the city of lights 💡 thanks to a 10 km race, the Champs-Élysées competition will warm both your body 🦵 and your heart ❤️. And yes! The 8th arrondissement of Paris is the star of the event: Arc de Triomphe, Parc Monceau 🌳, Avenue des Champs-Élysées... Rings a bell? Of course it does! 😏 All these wonders of French heritage 🥖 will be part of the trials that await you. So quickly put on your beret your race number 🎽, and head to the your croissant starting line 🏃♂️.
What better way to kick off the week than by participating in a little race on a Sunday? Let loose, admire the breathtaking view, don’t rush... This is what you can savor during this competition that promises to dazzle you, and fill your stomach 🧀 (we are proud of our gastronomy here 🍴)! You will pass some of the most famous streets in the world, from Faubourg Saint-Honoré to Rue Balzac passing by Boulevard Haussmann 🤯. The highlight of the spectacle is of course crossing: Avenue des Champs-Élysées 😎 (we thought you understood from the competition name, but we better be clear 😂). Parisians 👥 can rediscover the city in a new light, away from the daily grind, while tourists will regret not being able to run more 👟. We wish the race continued to the Louvre 🏛️ or to the Effiel Tower ⭐, but you will have to be satisfied with an exceptional finish on one of the world’s most famous avenues… Poor you! 😜
As for the weather, we strongly advise not to forget your warm layer, well in Paris, it’s more like your chic cardigan! 😁 Yes, because in February, the capital is great, but it's cold! ❄️ But that doesn't mean you won't have a good time, quite the contrary! After your race, you could for example try ice skating at the Tuileries ice rink! ⛸️ If you can run, you can also glide, right? 🕺 The cold won't stop you from strolling along the Seine, whether it freezes or not, it's always beautiful 🔓 (just be careful not to slip). We also recommend taking advantage of the free admission to museums 📚. There is a wide range to choose from, something for everyone! Otherwise, you can visit Parc Monceau, which you will have had the opportunity to cross 🌿. And if you like novelty, then go exploring these: Parc de Clichy - Jardin des Tuileries - Parc des Buttes Chaumont or even Parc Montsouris ⛲. No doubt this will have whetted your appetite (or the race did 🤷♀️), and the children's too! 🧒 Playground, statues, and vibrant nature inhabit the most elegant park in the city... 🏓 Yes yes yes, at Finishers, we love to combine sweat and pleasure, so no-stress races are our favorite! 🤝
So if you too want to end your week well with a 10 km to beat your record ⏱️ or go at your own pace doing your jogging in an exceptional setting, it's now or never 😌. No excuses, if you're not available on race day, the 10 km des Champs Élysées also exists in a connected format! 📲
Starting off in the morning, you will set off on two loops in the heart of the capital 🔂.
Crossing Avenue Georges, you will see directly the Champs Élysées! 🇫🇷 Heading towards the Franklin Roosevelt metro stop and the gardens of the Champs-Élysées to then ascend towards our dear Arc de Triomphe 🤩. But it is ultimately the rue Boétie that you will take for 1 km towards the boulevard Haussmann to head back towards the Parc Monceau 💘. You will have already completed half of the course by that point!
You will go directly to the fan zone via rue de Courcelles to reach the Champs Élysées one last time, then rush to the finish line! 👏
