Tra'Zille 2025

Need an outdoor activity in the wild in a sunny spring day ? 🌸 Then Tra'zille is meant for you ! It’s in Aude, in Occitanie, that the endurance runs of the Tra'Zille will happen in the town of Azille. Agenda : 1 Ultra trail run, 2 trail runs, 1 Nordic Walk et several runs for kids. The area of Azille is the perfect playground for beginners or experienced runners 🏃. With gorgeous 360 degree views on the Montagne Noire 🗻, the Mont Alaric and Pyrenees 🏔️. The Minervois region will conquer your runner heart ❤️. The itineraries wander through the vineyards 🍇 and via the river gorges of the Cesse and the Brian for the "Ultra Trail du Minervois".

By the way, what about this Ultra ? L’UTDM not to be confused with one of the most famous one. For only one letter, we could have thought taking the start of the UTMB ! 🤪 Well, imagine you that the ultra from Tra’Zille is not any easier 😌. Indeed, 67 km are waiting for you with not less than 2 000 m of elevation gain 📈. Only a little walk for you, isn’t it ! 😉 For the more sensible, the event will satisfy everyone ! Two other trail races are organized : "La Serre" with 21 km and 400 mD+ and the "Petit Baigneur" (for those who want to get wet, but not too much 🏊‍♂️) with 12 km and 160 mD+. If you don’t want to run you can always do the Nordic Walk of 12 km 🚶. Because we thought about everyone, kids will have the choice within 6 distances but will talk about it a bit later 👦.

And we haven’t even talk about the most important ! 😁 Because of the challenging distance combine with elevation gain, the UTDM in addition to give you 3 points iTRA, is a qualifying race for two races of the Grand Raid de la Réunion 🌋. In fact, if you complete the UTDM, you will get 86 points. This point system determines races you can register for at the Grand Raid. Thus, you could directly register at the Bourbon race which require 75 points. And you will have half of the points necessary to register to the Diagonal des Fous which requires the completion of at least two races with 85 points minimum.

If you decide to come over in Azille for the weekend or longer, you will have time to discover the trails around the area before the D-day and get an idea what you will face during the race 🌲. Not only ! 🤓 You will also be able to discover the many vineyards of the area with eventually some taste of the Minervois wine 🍷 (to be consumed with moderation). And everything is planned to spend a lovely afternoon after your race 🥰 : food, drinks, awards ceremony 🏆 and music 🎵.
