You're about to embark on an iconic course: the Seine-Marathon 76! In Rouen, located in the Seine-Maritime department, in the beautiful region of Normandy, more than 8,000 runners gather annually to experience this unique event 🏃. September will have already arrived, and autumn will be settling in. Fortunately, you won’t be running in scorching heat 🍁. This sporting and festive event 🥳 truly invites participants to share experiences, push their limits, and discover the local heritage. Seasoned athletes and casual runners, young and old, everyone is welcome at the Seine-Marathon 76. The main goal of the race is to enjoy a friendly experience centered around the love of running! Lace up your sneakers and dive into the Seine! 🎭

You can choose from 4 different distances to get moving 🤪. The "5 km MATMUT" is small but charming, designed to be accessible for everyone: adults, children, weekend joggers, or seasoned runners. This relaxed race promotes the simple yet powerful idea of moving being beneficial for health! You’ll run (or walk) with the wind in your hair 🤗. If you feel up for more, you can double your effort with the "10 km of Rouen"! ✌️ The flat course is perfect for breaking your personal record ⏰. Ready for something more serious? 🤓 The 21.097 km of the "Semi-Marathon de Rouen" make for a great starting point! Finally, the marathon will let you join the ranks of legendary races 🔥. Whether on your own or in a relay team of four (an option reserved for businesses only), the 42.195 km route will reveal the city to you. Clearly, all of Rouen will unfold before you, step by step!

The rest of your itinerary is all set too. After your race, take a stroll through the jardin des plantes 🌱 or explore the forest of La Londe-Rouvray 🌲. Don’t miss the imposing Rouen Cathedral ⛪️, or consider visiting the site of Joan of Arc's pyre to pay homage to "The Maid of Orléans"!

The quai Jean Moulin will witness your start, your sweat, and your heroic return 💪. Along the way? Bib collection will be on Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10 am to 7 pm at the Hôtel du Département de Seine-Maritime. Access to the bib collection village will be via Quai Jean Moulin.

All races for the Seine-Marathon 76 will start this year from Quai Jean Moulin, near the Hôtel du Département de Seine-Maritime.

You must present either:

  • A medical certificate to start the Seine-Marathon 76. It must state there are no contraindications to competitive sports, Athletics in competition, or competitive running, dated less than a year before the competition date.

  • A Health Prevention Pathway (PPS) completed up to 3 months before the race date.

  • A valid and accepted license by the organization or a "Pass’ J’aime Courir" issued by the French Athletics Federation (FFA).

No document is required for the 5 km.
