You'll get to explore its exceptional heritage and charming countryside surroundings over an entire October weekend. So, quickly gear up (and dress warmly ☁️) to experience a festive and popular event in the Grand Est region: the Euro Marathon Metz.
A word of advice: give it your all because there are 7 events waiting for you 💥. If you're feeling brave, take on the Euro Marathon Metz. If the daunting 42.195 km are too much or you've missed too many training sessions (it happens, don't worry 🫡), you can opt for the relay race! Form a team of two or four brave knights 🛡️ and tackle the challenge with your squad's strength 💪. This race offers you an urban track where you'll run along the Moselle river, admire the magnificent Saint-Etienne Cathedral, and traverse the Saint Symphorien Stadium. Still not convinced? 🧐 You can choose the 10 km course, entirely within the city limits, taking you on a run through the historical streets of this three-thousand-year-old city 👴. Historical monuments centuries old ⏳ and more recent additions 💁♀️ stand side by side, showcasing the amazing architectural diversity of the city 😍. The remaining 3 events are designed for children, with distances suitable for their age and all skill levels 🙌. You have 6 hours to complete the marathon and 1 hour 45 minutes to finish the 10 km race.
For the Marathon: Participants must be 18 years old on the day of the event
For the Relay x2 and x4: Participants must be 16 years old on the day of the event
For the 10 km: Participants must be 16 years old on the day of the event
Kids races:
Race 1 (around 400m): for ages 5-6
Race 2 (around 800m) for ages 7-9
Race 3 (around 1,500m) for ages 10-12

Phase 1 (22/01/2025): €55 or €50 for FFA license holders
Phase 2 (upon reaching the first bib quota, 1,250): €65
Phase 3 (upon reaching the second quota, totaling 2,250 bibs, 1,000 more): €75
10 km:
Phase 1 (22/01/2025): €15 or €12 for FFA license holders
Phase 2 (upon reaching the first bib quota, 1,750 bibs): €17
Phase 3 (upon reaching the second quota, totaling 3,150, 1,400 more bibs): €20
Relay Duo Marathon
Phase 1 (22/01/2025): €40 per person, €80 per team
Phase 2 (upon reaching the first bib quota, 150 bibs, or 75 teams): €45 per person, €90 per team
Phase 3 (upon reaching the second quota, 200 teams, 250 more bibs, or 125 teams): €50 per person, €100 per team
Relay Quartet Marathon:
Phase 1 (22/01/2025): €25 per person, €100 per team
Phase 2 (upon reaching the first bib quota, 240 bibs, or 60 teams): €30 per person, €120 per team
Phase 3 (upon reaching the second quota, 640 total, or 160 teams, 400 more bibs, or 100 teams): €35 per person, €140 per team
Kids races:
No fee changes (€5)
To take part in this race, you must have either:
A valid license issued by the French Athletics Federation on the day of the event.
A Health Prevention Track, replacing the medical certificate with an FFA-issued statement through the Health Prevention Track platform (PPS): pps.athle.fr. This Health Prevention Track must be dated within 3 months of the event.
For the Marathon: Refreshment stations every 5 km and at the finish line
For the 10 km: A refreshment station at 5 km and at the finish line
