This is the new challenge we present to you with the Metropolitan Sky Run! Yes, at first glance, it might seem a bit crazy, but it's really an opportunity to test your athletic abilities with a short yet intense effort! 🤠 Want to know more? First off, the setting itself is likely to impress 💁‍♀️—picture yourself in the fabulous city of Barcelona in Spain 🇪🇸, right in the heart of May! Ah, the return of sunny days 🌞, there's nothing like it to dive into an outdoor challenge! 🌆 Now, let's dive into the details: the mission involves climbing 569 steps, across 29 floors and 105m elevation gain 🤯. And yes, all that while running, of course! 🏃‍♀️ Excitingly new for 2025, you'll have the chance to participate in this wild race as a team! 👯‍♂️ To make that happen, you'll need at least 3 teammates as quirky as you 🤪. There's no limit on the number of participants in a team, but only the top 3 times will count! 🥉 At the moment, you might not realize it, but the climb offers a 360-degree view of the entire city! 👀 Do you think you might catch a glimpse of the Sagrada Família? 🏰 That incredible basilica envisioned by architect Antoni Gaudí! 👨‍🎨 Its construction began in 1882 and it’s still not completed! 🪜 Once you reach the top of the famed Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower, it will be time to enjoy the extraordinary panorama 😎.

Given that this event is quite unique, its organization is equally so 🤗. For instance, when registering, you can choose your starting time ⏰. Planned between 9 AM and 1 PM, it's up to you to decide what time suits you best! And as the cherry on top 🍒, you can also choose the music that will play when you're in the starting blocks! 🏁 We know you’re tempted to choose "Eye of the Tiger" 🐯 to get in the zone and channel the strength of Rocky Balboa! 🥊 Awaken the Spanish stallion within! 🫵

Once you've finished punishing your legs 🦵, you'll definitely deserve a little leisure time! Simply wandering around Barcelona is a delightful activity 👌, though you might not be in the mood to walk miles with all the soreness you'll feel! 🦿 Instead, opt for some cultural activities! 🖼️ To start with, if you admired (even from afar) the architecture of the Sagrada Família, then you should check out other works by Gaudí! 🔨 The Casa Batlló with its ceramic façade 🍵 is sure to impress; you probably haven't seen anything like it before! 😉 As for museums, there's one dedicated to tracing the life of the famous painter Pablo Picasso! 🎨 But if you have a sweet tooth, you might also enjoy a visit to the Chocolate Museum! 🍫 For those leaving with chocolate bars in their pockets, a little break is in order! 🕺 And for that, there's nothing better than dipping your feet in the water at Barceloneta Beach 🏖️ (though in May, you might not go beyond your feet)! 🦶
