The event in a few words

Welcome to the page that will give you everything you need to know about the Logicom Cyprus Marathon, also known as the Cyprus Marathon! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ If you're looking for a marathon on a paradise island, you're in the right place! ๐Ÿ๏ธ The city of Paphos (Pafos) offers 5 races ! A whole marathon, a half marathon, a 10K road race, a fun 5K run, and for wine enthusiasts, a 5K wine run! ๐Ÿท

Just a tip: don't drink too much during the raceโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜… But don't worry too much, you'll be too busy being awestruck by the scenery around you. And as if the Mediterranean Sea ๐ŸŒŠ isn't enough, the routes will also take you through authentic villages on the island. You'll see mountain areas and the lands that cover it โ›ฐ๏ธ. In March in Cyprus, temperatures range between 8ยฐC and 18ยฐC ๐ŸŒก๏ธ. Perfect for enjoying the coast โ˜€๏ธ, and also for getting your legs moving on one of the distances! ๐Ÿฆต

Did you know the marathon starts, according to myth, at the place where the goddess Aphrodite was born? ๐Ÿงโ€โ™€๏ธ Legend even says that if you swim at midnight near the cliffs of Pรฉtra Tou Romiou, you'll experience eternal love (since Aphrodite is the goddess of love)! ๐Ÿ’ž Of course, that's just a legend. Our mission is to get you signed up for the Cyprus Marathon and ensure you have an unforgettable experience. Finding true love is just a bonus! ๐Ÿ˜ Oh, you're laughing now, but we'll see after you try! ๐Ÿ’ช The courses are along the coast. We can already imagine you breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the flat course! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ And if you see planes flying overhead, it's not your private jet coming to your rescue... You're just near one of the three airports in Cyprus ๐Ÿ›ฌ.

During your stay, you'll have the chance to visit some amazing places! ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ Among our favorites are Paphos Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the medieval castle ๐Ÿ—ฟ, the Agios Neophytos Monastery, and of course, the bay where Aphrodite was born! With all this, you can also enjoy the stunning scenery of the beaches and blue waters. After your marathon, you'll have only one desire: to take a dip! ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ
